Lunar Prototypes designs functional parts that fit your tools, space, and life. We focus on off grid, end of supply chain realities where ready made gear is scarce and reliability matters. Use what you have, print what you need, and keep things working.
Lunar Prototypes began with a simple idea. When you are far from easy replacements, the best tool is the one you can print today. I built this brand around a maker’s mindset. Identify the problem, design a fit that works, and iterate until it holds up in the real world. My background in engineering and networks taught me to value reliability. Family life taught me to value practicality. Both shape how I design and how I share.
Every part here started as a real fix. Something that needed to be stronger, cleaner, safer, or easier to use. The goal is not novelty. The goal is a custom fit that earns a permanent place in your daily setup.
Parametric modeling in Fusion 360, tested in real use, then shared so you can customize and print with confidence.
Not everyone has next day shipping or a parts bin in the closet. Off grid, on the road, in a lab, at a school, or at a workbench far from the store, the ability to print a reliable solution is real leverage. Design self reliance cuts downtime and keeps projects moving.
Sustainability lives in the choices we make. Print only what is needed. Reuse designs that adapt as requirements change. Favor durable geometry and materials that match the job. Functional 3D design reduces waste by preventing throwaway fixes. Good parts earn their keep by working hard and lasting longer.
This is why Lunar Prototypes exists. Practical, adaptable parts. Shared openly so you can fit them to your world.
