Customizable Cuboid Mount

This customizable cuboid mount was originally designed to mount a Cisco Catalyst switch under a desk, but it can be adapted for a wide range of square or rectangular devices that need a simple, secure mounting solution. By adjusting the internal dimensions, height, and mounting geometry, it can be sized to fit network switches, power bricks, small electronics enclosures, control boxes, hubs, mini PCs, battery packs, and other box-shaped hardware.

It works well anywhere off-the-shelf mounts fall short, especially when the exact device dimensions, clearance needs, or mounting location are different from standard brackets. Whether you are organizing a desk setup, cleaning up a workshop, mounting hardware inside an enclosure, or securing electronics to a wall, shelf, rack, or underside of a surface, this design provides a flexible starting point without having to model a custom mount from scratch.

Orient design on print bed so there are minimal overhangs. 

Assembly Instructions

Materials Needed: 
8x #8 Wood Screws

Instructions:
1. Print all piece.
2. Place object to be mounted in place.
3. Piece by piece, use a marker to mark the holes for each corner.
4. Drill pilot holes.
5. Screw in back mounts.
6. Insert device to be mounted. 
7. Screw in remaining mounts.
