Press-Fit Replacement Lamp Switch Knob

Generate a press-fit replacement knob for an existing rotary lamp-switch stem. Customize stem diameter, length, tooth angle, and clearance.

Replace a missing knob without replacing the lamp’s rotary switch. This design press-fits over an existing non-threaded or toothed switch stem and can be adjusted to match its diameter, exposed length, surrounding ring, and tooth angle.

What to Measure

  • Exposed switch-stem diameter
  • Exposed stem length
  • Outer diameter of the surrounding ring
  • Position or angle of the stem’s tooth or flat, if present
